Reminded

I was driving home from work today, feeling a little overwhelmed with various things going on in my life right now. A chorus of a song came on the radio that struck me:  Crucified! Laid behind the stone. He lived to die, rejected and alone... 

Whatever is happening in my life, whatever is overwhelming me, whatever seems un-solve-able... Christ still died and rose, still reigns in heaven, and still calls me to draw closer to Him.

I Corinthians 15:3-4 
"Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures." 

That verse is true no matter what is happening. 

I was reminded to keep fixing my eyes on Jesus, what He did for me and His never failing promises.
