I decided that my life lately has been a Smörgåsbord of events. And so I am going to attempt at sharing some of the events that have filled life lately... buffet style :D
MAIN ENTREES...
School started and takes up a big chunk of time, but so far I am enjoying it. Mercy and I also have far too much fun in class together, and that definitely makes work much more bearable. :) I am also schooling my sisters a little bit at times and that is always a fun challenge.
Volleyball has been a ton of fun and I feel like I learn more every time I step on the floor. I am blessed by my team-mates and coaches, and am enjoying volleyball more and more.
Trying to keep life around home running smoothly... a major portion of my life is spent transporting people to where they need to be, cleaning up, caring for my siblings, and making food. Especially with more of my Mom's time being spent on her BSU classes. ;-) Not that I mind at all... I enjoy meeting the needs of and serving my family. :-)
SIDE DISHES...
Being a mother's helper a few days a week for a gal who just moved here. I have been helping her with her 16 month old and 2.5 yr old since she is pregnant and supposed to be doing minimal lifting and will be helping her more in the future. It is SO much more fun to clean other people's houses than your own. ;) And I love hanging out with the kids... they are so adorable!
Getting my Bronze Congressional Award. After volunteering, camping, reading, exercising, and numerous other activities and a TON TON TON TON TON TON of paperwork, I got it. My parents were significantly more excited than I was, but it was neat to get to go to the Capitol and meet some of Idaho's delegation.
DESSERTS...
Random fun times and random exciting things. Such as Saturday, hanging at the baseball game after watching Mercy sing the National Anthem. And iced mochas. :D Such as shooting hoops at church when practically the whole church has left but your parents are still talking... much easier in bare feet than heels. ;-) Such as reading books in my spare time. I don't have as much reading time nowadays, but I cherish the moments I get. :-)
BSU Football has started. Which means NCAA Football has started. ALWAYS a good thing... I love college football season. :-)
I am sure there are many things I am forgetting to mention... but those are some highlights.
